Top Five Home Remedies of Tongue Blisters
Tongue Blisters can be due to excessive smoking, vitamin B deficiency, eating too much fatty food or may be some side effects of any medication. This is common problem can be faced by anybody.  There are some effective remedies through which we can cure the blisters at home.
  1. Turmeric
To heal the pain and inflammation caused by the tongue blisters, turmeric can be used. It has antiseptic Properties which help to cure the blister. Mix half spoon of turmeric powder with the one tablespoon of honey. Apply this paste on the blisters with your finger and leave the paste for two to three minutes. Rinse off with the warm water. Repeat the process three times a day to get relief from the blisters.
  1. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has a natural healing and anti-bacterial properties. You can use the Aloe Vera leaf by cutting the leaf and extract the gel. Apply the gel into the blisters and leave it for five minutes. Rinse the mouth with Luke warm water. Repeat the same process several times a day.
  1. Ice
Ice will give you numbing effect that will soothe and provide immediate relief from the pain. It also helps to reduce the swelling and inflammation. There are two common symptoms of tongue blisters.
Hold Ice cubes directly on the blisters until they become numb. You can take the small sips of cold water from time to time to get the relief from the pain.
  1. Baking Soda
With the help of anti-inflammatory properties, baking soda will be helpful to get relief from tongue blisters. It’s also helpful to restore the PH balance of the mouth.
Add one teaspoon of baking soda to a cup of warm water. Swish the solution around your tongue and spit it out. You can use the paste of baking soda and water into your blisters. Rinse with the warm water, when they become dry.
  1. Salt
Salt is easy and very good in treating tongue blisters. It can help to treat infection and kill bacteria. There can be a number of ways to use salt for blisters. You can take 1 tablespoon of salt mix it with one cup of water. Swish the solution around in the mouth for at least 30 seconds and split it out. Then, put the salt directly on the blisters for a minute and rinse your mouth with warm water. Repeat the process 4 or 5 times until the blisters are cured.
