A biggest domestic opening for an animated film seats by “Finding Dory”; A Story about little regal blue tang fish.

In U.S box office history, Finding Dory shattered records this weekend with its $136.2 million, making it the highest-grossing animated debut ever.

The 2003’s “Finding Nemo” first hit theaters and was residual affection for the Oscar-Winning first film. It was the story about overprotective clown fish named Marlin who searches for his abducted son Nemo. The sequel to “Finding Nemo” has unseated “Shrek The Third” which took $121.6 million on its release in 2007.

Disney and Pixar’s “Finding Dory” was the only animated movie, which ranked no. 18 and break into the top 20 openings. It opens in 4,305 theaters and brings back a lot of familiar faces from Finding Nemo, but some newer characters steal the show.

Dwayne  Johnson and Kevin Hart’s central intelligence make the tale about the forgetful fish voiced by Ellen DeGeneres; who also voiced the Dory character in “Finding Nemo”. In this story, a blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds, sees her go off on a new advantage to search for her family. That is the only thing which she can remember. She wants some answers about her past, about her parents and where did she come from. That is not enough, there are so much more to find in Dory. It includes some unheralded stars and dazzling scenes with special effects which were not included in 2003’s Finding Nemo.

Andrew Stanton, Director of both movies Finding Dory and Finding Nemo, says “There’s a bit of breathtaking appreciation. But if you’re doing it right, people are just accepting of these scenes and move right on, staying completely in the narrative. It’s kind of a thankless job”.

The other most important factors of Finding Dory success are a strong 95% score on review site Rotten Tomatoes and families; 65% of the film’s weekend audience. And, the Disney Executive Vice President of Distribution, Dave Hollis said that, "That's really a testament to this being a picture for everyone — not just for families".

The big weekend for "Dory" is also a bright spot for the overall summer box office, which has been struggling as of late. The latest international numbers from Friday through Sunday include “Finding Dory”-$136.2 million ($50 million international), “Central Intelligence”-$34.5 million ($6.8 million international), “The conjuring 2”-$15.6 million ($41.9 million international), “Now you see me 2”-$9.7 million ($15.8 million international), and “Warcraft”-$6.5 million ($17.7 million international).
