Pregnancy require foods that include more protein and vitamins. One has to keep in mind that she is eating for two. It is important to eat whatever you like in pregnancy, but it is very essential to keep watch on your daily consumption of nutritional food. 1. Beans Women have to take 10 grams of extra protein during her pregnancy. Beans and lentils  are rich in protein, if taken 1 cup extra a day, can add up to 15 grams.

2. Walnut Walnut is rich in Omega 3. For a snack purpose women can eat a handful of walnuts whenever she feels hungry. Walnut intake is important in pregnancy, as it contains Omega3, which is a good source of fiber and protein.

3. Greek Yogurt A Greek yogurt is beneficial, as it has twice the protein of regular yogurt. It is a great source of calcium, which plays vital rote in pregnancy.

4. Eggs One egg gives 90 calories. Eggs contain good quality of proteins which is essential for pregnancy. Your baby cell is growing and that contains protein. White egg is low in saturated fat where as high in cholesterol. Healthy women with a normal cholesterol should consider one or two eggs in a day. Eggs are cheap, easily available in the market.

5. Lean Meats Lean meat contains high iron, which can be an excellent option. It also helps to build blocks of every cell of your baby.  A minimum what a pregnant women need to take 75 grams of protein per day. It can increase the blood volume in your baby. It also helps to develop the brain of your baby.

6. Dark Green Leafy Vegetables There are many green vegetables a pregnant woman should get while in pregnancy such as: Spinach Kale Swiss chard and other dark green Vegetables It is loaded with vitamin A, C and K and as well as all Folate. It helps to promote eye health.

7. Whole Grains It is high in vitamin E, selenium and phytonutrients (plant compounds that protects the eggs. Popcorn is a whole grain food. Whole grain bread contains high amount of irons and zinc. It is recommended by a doctor to consume 20 to 25 grams of fiber.

8. Sweet Patato Through sweet potato we will get vitamin C, Folate and Fiber. These are also inexpensive and versatile. You can use as a snack. Vitamin A which is required by a child in her womb. At least 700 mg are required in a day. Potassium around 4.7 grams must be taken by a pregnant woman. Vitamin B6, pregnant women must consume 1.9 mili grams of vitamin B6 in a day.

9. Salmon Choices made while in pregnancy is crucial.  Whatever you eat will go back to your baby. Seafood is a great source of iron, zinc and protein. Omega3 fatty acid present in the fish can increase the size of the brain and help to develop the brain.

10. Broccoli Broccoli belongs  to the Italy and become the favorite in 80’s. It is full of nutrients, antioxidants and phytochemical. Broccoli can be used in salad and gives many benefits to your baby.
